If the dews froze under the Sahara,
The blaze will not then wither the will,
If the peace is no longer fluttering doves,
THEN THE HATE THEN WILL TURN TO LOVE

SUBHANALLAH. Allah's creature :)

it's true :)

Life is short.

Her name is Katie Kirkpatrick , 21 yrs old. Next to her is her fiancé, Nick, 23. This picture was taken prior to their wedding January 11th, 2005. Katie has terminal cancer and spends hours in chemotherapy. Here Nick awaits while she finishes one of the sessions.

Even in pain and dealing with her organs shutting down, with the help of morphine, Katie took care of every single part of the wedding planning. Her dress had to be adjusted several times due to Katie’s constant weight loss.

An expected guest was her oxygen tank. Katie had to use it during the ceremony and reception. The other couple in this picture is Nick’s parents, very emotional with the wedding and of course to see their son marrying the girl he fell in love with when he was an adolescent.

Katie, in a wheel chair, listening to her husband and friends singing to her.

In the middle of the party, Katie had to rest for a bit to catch her breath. The pain does not allow her to stand for a long period of time. Katie died 5 days after her wedding. To see a fragile woman dress as a bride with a beautiful smile makes you think, happiness is always there within reach, no matter how long it lasts. Life is short. So love without boundaries. Laugh without control. Live like it’s heaven on earth.

Don't stop believing

Just a small town girl
livin´ in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin´ anywhere
Just a city boy born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train goin´ anywhere

A singer in a smoky room
The smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on

Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the nights
Streetlights people
Living just to find emotion
Hiding somewhere in the nights

Working hard to get my fill
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin´ anything to roll the dice
Just one more time

Some will win some will lose
Some are born to sing the blues
And now the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on

Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the nights
Streetlights people
Living just to find emotion
Hiding somewhere in the nights

Don´t stop believin
Hold on to that feelin´
Streetlight people
(repeat)

Don´t stop!
with love,
ILA
